The Hoodman HBM1 Hood For Blackmagic Cinema Camera is designed to greatly improve the outdoor/bright light visibility of the camera's LCD screen. Extending much further from the camera than the basic visor Blackmagic Design provides, the shade will block most direct light from hitting the screen reducing glare and specular reflections.
The screen attaches via a touch-tab fastener over the existing visor and is made of a flexible nylon material reinforced with plastic that folds flat for storage. A self-closing opening on the underside of the hood allows touchscreen access.
