The EVO Series Motorized Slider is as compact as an electric K-Car while being as powerful as a professional camera motorized slider. It is equipped with an ultra-quiet brushless motor, ensuring that even when running at high speeds, there is no audio interference with the on-camera microphone, allowing for pure audio capture.
It supports seamless real-time speed control with a range of 0.5-57mm/s, which is specially engineered for one-take speed-ramping transition shots. Users can set waypoints manually, and there is an instant AB-Point setup function. The system can handle advanced filming tasks such as time-lapse and stop-motion through an app, and at the same time, it enables core functions like A-B point setting and orbital shots directly from the slider control keys without the need for a phone.
The slider is designed with etched scales, which means zero guesswork—once you lock the positions, you can return to them flawlessly. The focus handle has a built-in magnetic function; when photographers don't need orbital shots, it instantly snaps back to the center, eliminating the need for repeated adjustments of the locking knob and saving time.
For focus-locked orbital shots, the setup is simple with zero failures. After installing the camera, keep the camera 90° vertical to the rail, align the red dot on the slider with the "o" mark on the rail, move the rail to center the subject in the frame, adjust the follow focus to center the subject in the monitor, then press the "Point A button", "Point B button", "Loop button", and finally press the "Start/Stop button" to begin loop shooting.
It has flexible mounting options and multiple installation methods. When using heavier gear, attaching support arms (AKH1 is sold separately) can significantly enhance stability. A side-mounted 1/4" screw port allows for mounting auxiliary devices like monitors or LED panels, which offloads the camera rig and results in significantly stabilized footage.
The battery is side-mounted, which ensures that the camera body never conflicts with control interfaces, eliminating the need for a ball head to elevate the camera and thus avoiding added instability risks.
